Description

An interesting example of 1960s TV, this 1961 episode of “As the World Turns” is about a mother’s struggle to get her son back after being forced to put him up for adoption years before. This copy runs a short 23 minutes, though I must note that even in the 1960s, daytime shows ran for less minutes of “show” than prime-time series of the period (which, in the US, was usually about 24 to 26 minutes of “show”).
